Spot conditions

Our situation just around a corner of the bay means that there is usually an area for 30 -50 meters just in front of the school where the prevailing North - North Westerly wind is sheltered and this combined with a shallow slope makes conditions here ideal for learners. Get beyond this area and the Meltemi winds blow with a constant regularity that any experienced surfer will love. You can sail out about 1.5 kilometers without getting into the shipping lanes and there is a mix of light inshore chop and often waves of 2 meters in height further out.
