The Steel offers a very individual trim thanks to its two clew eyelets which allow you to adjust to the differing conditions and venues. Depending on the sail size, the boom length can vary up to 5 cm. Using the upper eyelet, the Steel feels more powerful and more direct combined with more planing power. Using the lower eyelet, the sail will feel more compact, the leech will twist a bit more and the control in higher winds is extended. The Torro comes fully equipped with early planing abilities, manoeuvrability and excellent speed properties. Further key characteristics are a reduced boom length concept for extremely easy handling, soft batten rotation and a reduced leech tension for easy rigging. The size specific batten configuration of 5 battens without tubes up to size 5,3 and with one tube batten from size 5,7 on, provide better flat water performance. The 65% x-ply construction guarantees longevity and peace of mind for freestyle tricks, etc. |
